Released 2026-10-20. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. No administrator rights needed.

New in 0.2.2: Logs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Scribe\logs, and WhatsApp voice notes no longer hang at "Decoding".

Installing

  1. Ask Alex for a Tailscale share link and a Scribe key. Install Tailscale and accept the share first.
  2. Run the installer. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway: the installer isn't signed with a paid certificate.
  3. When Scribe opens, paste the key under Scribe server and click Test.
